The recent visit of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, to the United States , underscored a widening division between the Israeli government and that of the Obama administration when Obama demanded the cessation of Jewish settlements on the West Bank .

Following that visit, Prime Minister Netanyahu named his terms for peace with the Palestinians by stating that the only way that the Jews would recognize a Palestinian state is if they would reject violence and lay down their arms. Of course, these two broad statements by Netanyahu oppose what Obama and his administration are seeking.

With these recent events, it is becoming obvious to Netanyahu that the Israeli government will be forced to "go it alone." Believe it or not, Biblical prophecy describing our time today indicates that very thing. Notice Isaiah 9: 21, "Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah . For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still."

This scripture indicates a worsening world condition and strong disagreements developing between the Obama administration and the Jewish state.

Considering the recent elections in Iran and the civil unrest that has followed, these events lend themselves to the expulsion of any representatives from the Western world to observe Iran 's nuclear ambitions.

As the situation becomes more unstable in Iran and western observers are expelled, this will heighten the tensions and Israeli concern over a rapid completion of an Iranian nuclear weapon aimed at the Jews.

Since the Obama administration is trying to establish a dialog with the Iranians, it would appear that the administration is willing to overlook any subterfuge concerning nuclear weapons developed by the Iranian regime. If the Jews attack Iran without getting, in a sense, permission from the Obama administration, a rift will follow.

Another event of note will occur when the Jews realize that they are left alone in the world without any real allies. In this scenario, as in the past, the Jews will "dust off their religion" and attempt to return to God's good graces by erecting a new temple in Jerusalem and beginning daily sacrifices.

When the daily sacrifices begin, we are told in Daniel 8:14 that they will last for a period of 2300 days, at which time they will be brought to an abrupt halt. This halting of the daily sacrifices is the event described by Jesus Christ in Matthew 24:15, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)"

We urge you to watch and be mindful of these events which will begin the count-down to the Great Tribulation.
